Esperance de Tunis and Sundowns have secured their places at the next FIFA Club World Cup (Mundial de Clubes FIFA 25™) after the CAF Champions League semi-final matches were played on Friday.

Our club, along with Sundowns, have completed the list of African qualifiers for the inaugural edition of the FIFA Club World Cup to be held in the United States in June and July 2025, becoming the third and fourth CAF teams to book their tickets regardless of the outcome of this year's Champions League final.

With Egyptian giants Al Ahly and Wydad Casablanca of Morocco having already secured their spots as winners of the Champions League in 2021, 2022, and 2023 respectively.

By facing Al Ahly in a two-legged final on May 18 and 25, we have the opportunity to clinch a continental title and, at the same time, qualify directly as African champions.

Whether through the ranking route or by winning the final, Espérance de Tunis will be present on the world stage next year! This will be our fourth participation in the Club World Cup, after our memorable expeditions to Japan in 2011, the Emirates in 2018, and Qatar in 2019.
